Selected submission for the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism. Crossroads: Building the Resilient City, 2021
Our selected submission for the Seoul Biennale for Architecture and Urbanism 2021 was presented this month. Crossroads: Building the Resilient City. Director: Dominque Perrault, hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government at DDP.
The Bower is a collaboration with the University of Queensland School of Architecture, Silvia Micheli & Antony Moulis and select students, with Nicola White and Paul Hotston of Phorm architecture + design as Industry Partners and Design Leads.
Inspired by the culturally significant blue glazed terra-cotta tiles and reflected in commercial roof and wall cladding material of Seoul, our pavilion is an architectural postcard from Brisbane to Seoul. A supplied frame of Australian blue true core steel, supports an exploration of material identities.
